Easy Ways To Get Involved

These are just a few specific areas where PRC needs the help of servant-hearted people like you. We would love to help you serve while using your God-given talents. Let us know if you have other talents you would like to offer!

+Become a Peer Counselor (4 hour shift once a week)
  • Provide education on all options/resources available in the community
  • Make referrals to community resources
  • Teach parenting, prenatal, and postnatal skills

Peer Counselors go through a tuition-paid Crisis Training Curriculum through Light University (training takes place in the center, DVD based) and are certified through The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

+After hours data entry (Flexible shift once a week)
Volunteers are trained at PRC on using eKyros, our software system
+Cleaning at PRC (Once a week)
Light cleaning at the PRC office such as vacuuming, dusting, organizing, and keeping our space bright and welcoming for the women who come to PRC to find a safe haven.
+Helping out at marketing/PR events (As needed)
Training would include a portion of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) Crisis Training Curriculum and learning about PRC services
